Primary REALTOR® Membership

Primary REALTOR® Membership at the Las Cruces Association of REALTORS® (LCAR) is designated for real estate licensees who choose LCAR as their principal local association. By selecting Primary Membership, you establish LCAR as your primary administrative home; this means LCAR will collect and remit your National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and New Mexico Association of REALTORS® (NMAR) state dues on your behalf. This membership type grants you full access to local member services, MLS platforms, voting privileges, and educational tracking, while designating LCAR as the local entity responsible for enforcing your Code of Ethics. 

*By choosing this membership you are confirming you currently do not have membership with any other association.

Note: Before proceeding, please verify that your Qualifying Broker (QB) holds an active membership or participation status with LCAR.

Membership procedures: 

Submit a COMPLETE application (including required attachments) online. Applications are processed within an average of three business days. NOTE: Applicants must have their completed application and supporting documents submitted by Wednesday at 9:00am to ensure access to all software applications prior to the weekend. Applicants for membership shall be granted provisional membership. Provisional members will be subject to all the same privileges and obligations of membership. Provisional membership is granted subject to review of the application by the board of directors. If the board of directors determines that the individual does not meet all the qualifications for membership as established in the Association's Bylaws, or, if the individual does not satisfy all the requirements of membership within ninety (60) days from the Association's receipt of their application, membership may, at the discretion of the board of directors, be terminated.

Application Requirements:  

✓ Complete all the required fields in the online application 

✓ Submit a Drivers License 

✓ Submit a digital version of your NMREC Real Estate License

Account Access to Software: 

✓ Instant access and login instructions to your LCAR Member Portal upon payment (CE Registration, payments, realtor communication, public bio, etc.).

This account is separate from SNMMLS FlexMLS.

Requirements Prior to SNMMLS Flexmls Account Access: 

The following NAR required courses are taken immediately after your application is processed and payment is received. 

✓ Complete the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics online

✓ Complete the National Association of REALTORS® Fair Housing training online

*Your NRDS (National Realtor Database System) number and NAR.Realtor access instructions will be emailed to you.

Each course is free and the average total time to complete both courses is approximately 4 hours.

New Member Orientation

✓ Complete the LCAR New Member Orientation within (60) days of membership activation.

2026 Dues Schedule

✓ Auto-Pay: Securely store a form of payment to complete the membership process and for future quarterly SNMMLS Flexmls Access Fees.
